About US!

From the time I was little, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. A strong work ethic was instilled in me at a very young age, and I grew up believing that hard work, faith, and family could take you anywhere. Those values are the foundation of Southern Dirt Co.

Being the first daughter and first granddaughter in my family, you might think I grew up surrounded by all things pink—but that wasn't exactly the case. I was raised alongside a house full of boys. I'm the only girl out of four brothers, and I spent most of my childhood with my boy cousins. If they were riding four-wheelers, I was too. If they were racing dirt bikes, climbing trees, fishing, or jumping mud holes, I was right there with them.

But I also had another side.

I was as much of a girly girl as I was a tomboy. I had monograms on everything, matching hair bows for every outfit, and I loved dressing up just as much as I loved getting dirty. Even if I was headed to the mud with my cousins, you can bet I still had a bow in my hair. Pageants became my sport, and I was blessed to hold countless titles over the years. Looking back, that's exactly who I was—and still am. A girl who loved the outdoors without ever losing her feminine side.

Growing up, our family lived on land with a pond, and some of my favorite memories were spent fishing with my dad, brothers, uncles, and cousins. Those simple moments taught me that the outdoors wasn't just a hobby—it was where our family connected.

Then one day, I went hunting.

From that very first hunt, I was hooked. Hunting quickly became more than a pastime—it became my peace. It became a place where our family made memories, shared stories, laughed together, and appreciated God's creation. Those moments are some of the most meaningful memories I'll ever have.

My dad also owned a landscaping company my entire life, so hard work wasn't optional—it was simply part of who we were. I spent countless hours throwing pine straw, laying sod, loading mulch, and working right alongside my family. That's where the name Southern Dirt Co. was born.

Because to me, "dirt" represents so much more than the ground beneath our feet. It represents hard work. Family. Faith. The outdoors. The place where memories are made.

That's why our slogan became:

Where Southern Meets Style.

I created Southern Dirt Co. for families like mine—for the little girls who wear bows while riding four-wheelers, for the dads teaching their kids to fish, for hunters, farmers, outdoorsmen, hardworking families, and anyone who feels most at home outside.

I wanted to build a brand that was affordable, comfortable, and made for making memories. Whether you're in the woods, on the lake, working outside, cheering at the ballfield, or simply enjoying life with the people you love, I hope Southern Dirt Co. becomes a small part of your story just like the outdoors has always been part of mine.

What started as a dream from a young girl has become something far bigger than I ever imagined. Every order, every photo you share, every hat and shirt you wear means more than you'll ever know.

Thank you for believing in a young entrepreneur, supporting a small-town dream, and helping Southern Dirt Co. grow into something our family—and yours—can be proud of.
